It is not merely a physical shape – it is a reflection of infinity, of the divine principle, the source of the universe, and the energy of creation itself. Often envisioned as a cylindrical or oval form, the Lingam symbolizes both Shiva’s creative power and his eternal presence – the realm of infinity and oneness.

“Rajalingam” in Sanskrit means “royal lingam” – the supreme and most exalted form, which not only contains Shiva’s energy but also governs it. It is a powerful emblem that represents everything: creation, destruction, and transformation.
